Pricing
Imagilux pricing scales with the size and complexity of your fleet. We don’t publish a one-size-fits-all rate card — talk to us and we’ll quote against your actual deployment shape.
Why we don’t publish a fixed rate card
Light Out adoption depends on factors that vary widely between operators: fleet size, regulatory posture, air-gap requirements, custom integrations, support tier. A flat per-node rate would either be unfair to small teams or under-priced for hyperscale. Instead, we quote against the actual shape of each deployment.
What’s typically in scope
- UMF tooling — the open specification is free to use; commercial support, signed image registries, and operator licensing are paid.
- BOREAL — node-scaled licensing with volume tiers, plus enterprise add-ons (air-gap, FedRAMP support, dedicated TAM).
- Professional services — onboarding, migration, custom operator development.
How a quote conversation usually goes
- Discovery call (30 min) — fleet size, target environments, current pain points.
- Technical fit review — we sanity-check that Light Out is the right answer for what you’re trying to do. Sometimes it isn’t, and we’ll say so.
- Quote — fleet-scaled commercial terms with explicit support, SLA, and renewal clauses. No surprise overage line items.
- Proof of value window — we deploy a representative slice before you sign anything bigger than a starter contract.
Open-source vs commercial
The UMF specification, the SDKs, and most reference implementations are open and remain so — see the Platform overview. Commercial licensing pays for hardened distributions, signed registries, support contracts, and the BOREAL control plane.
